The Grande Ronde River snakes beside this farming town, and Highway 82 runs through it, connecting Imbler to La Grande to the Southwest and Elgin to the Northeast.
Enjoy a drive through our rolling farmlands of grass, wheat, mint, and other crops. Stop in at our country market, where visitors can buy our world-famous pepperoni by the foot or yard.
The orchards that once surrounded Imbler have been replaced with grass seed crops, producing high quality grass seed marketed worldwide and giving our little town the nickname "The Grass Seed Capital of the World." In years past, our bustling community included a flour mill, grain elevators, fruit-packing sheds, a mill, and a box factory.
